Robert Crawford

Principal

Robert grew up in the close in DC suburbs and has spent the past few decades learning the District and its surrounding Virginia and Maryland cohorts, one neighborhood at a time. He considers himself a Washington, DC “native” despite being born in New York. Robert attended school in the District, graduating from Gonzaga College High School and has been a downtown DC resident since 1997. He provides his clients with all of the “ins” and “outs” of DC living sprinkled with his real life experiences about growing up in a city with a very tumultuous past.

His interest in real estate goes back at least 20 years, from when he first used to keep track of the homes on the market in his childhood neighborhood. With the advent of the internet, he was able to become a resource for family and friends in their real estate transactions. He finally decided to take the plunge and follow one of his greatest interests in life – selling real estate, which he swore he would never do for more than six months, yet has never looked back.

Robert’s move to partner with Tyler Jeffrey was a natural one. The two of them have worked together for nearly five years, previously on the same team where they sat side by side learning the industry from some of the best mentors and coaches around. As the two of them built their businesses, what started as friendly competition quickly turned in to mutual admiration and respect. Coming together as business partners was simply the next logical move in being able to serve each of their clients more completely.

With an undergraduate degree in finance and accounting and an MBA in marketing, Robert brings a well-rounded perspective to the home buying process. His nearly twelve years in the corporate world with specifically five years in Human Resources provide him with a unique insight in to the real estate transaction. He not only looks at each transaction from the business side of deal, he completely understands the emotions involved and makes sure that both sides are equally addressed with each client, whether a buyer is entering into his or her first purchase or a seller is downsizing their home to start a new chapter in life, and everything in between.

Ultimately, Robert wants to show his clients, whether they are new to the city or local natives, that Washington, DC and its surrounding suburbs are great places to live. He has lived in American University Park, Foggy Bottom, Dupont Circle, and the U Street corridor among other neighborhoods in the surrounding suburbs. Currently, his roots are planted in the Crestwood neighborhood of DC where he, his partner, their two daughters and his four 4-legged children (a Golden Retriever and three cats) have been renovating their own version of “The Money Pit” over the past two and a half years.

Robert is licensed in the District of Columbia, State of Maryland and State of Virginia.

Tyler Jeffrey

Tyler Jeffrey has almost a decade of real estate experience. From marketing and advertising to residential home sales, Tyler is an expert in the entire sales process. He prides himself on delivering personalized service, exceptional client communication and professional expertise in DC area neighborhoods.

Tyler grew up with a mother and sister who were both realtors, so one might say real estate is in his blood. He understands that working side by side with every buyer and seller is the only way to ensure buyers find the best homes and sellers get the highest price possible in the shortest amount of time.

After joining a top real estate team in 2009, Tyler’s energy and passion for the business set him apart and helped him become one of the best in the business. With more than $150 million is sales since 2009, Tyler was honored to be included included on the list of America’s Best Real Estate Agents, a prestigious annual ranking of agents and teams by REAL Trends and The Wall Street Journal in 2014. A go-getter who’s always on the move, his previous work experience also includes work with local developers such as JBG, The Bernstein Companies, and Regent Partners.

Not only does Tyler’s expertise make him a top choice realtor, having grown up a “military brat,” he’s lived all over the world and is well versed in the trials and tribulations of moving. That knowledge is invaluable for both buyers and sellers.

Tyler resides along the U Street corridor in DC, though maintains his ties to downtown. When not out with clients, Tyler spends time with friends and family, trying new restaurants and constantly planning his next trip.

Colleen Gallagher

Director of Operations

Often described as energetic and always willing to help, Colleen is a key player in every successful transaction on the team. A native of Northern Virginia, Colleen graduated from JMU and quickly found her way into the hustle and bustle of DC.

Colleen has mastered the art of client care and is deftly able to handle any challenge that buyers and sellers may have. Whether it be prepping a property for market or helping buyers navigate a home inspection, Colleen is a pro at making sure there are no questions left at the end of the process.

When not assisting with the real estate needs of clients and the team, Colleen enjoys spending time with her daughter, friends, enjoying live music, coordinating book club meetings and trivia nights.

Elizabeth Mandle

Liz Mandle is a dynamic realtor specializing in metropolitan DC’s sought-after neighborhoods, up-and-coming areas, and new developments. As a former DC school teacher, Liz is known for her consultative client approach – and especially for her ability to demystify real estate for first-time home buyers. She thrives in the fast-paced DMV market, and shares her enthusiasm for real estate by accompanying clients throughout the buying process, matching them with the perfect home, and helping them have some fun along the way.

Clients who work with Liz gain a trusted advisor who listens to, understands, and interprets their home motivations and investment needs. Liz leverages her market knowledge and extensive network of industry relationships to discover the best home options, and employs her contract prowess to craft competitive offers that resound with listing agents and sellers alike. She is supported by Robert & Tyler’s full suite of transaction coordinators and customer service specialists, who join her in seamlessly shepherding clients from contract to closing. Liz is honored that the vast majority of her business stems from satisfied clients who entrust her with their family and friends through referrals.

Hailing from a real estate family, Liz discovered the thrill of house hunting at an early age amid moves between Texas, California, Oklahoma, Ohio, and Illinois. Since then, she has successfully bought, sold, and renovated multiple homes, and brings first-hand expertise on post-purchase considerations such as contractor costs, DIY opportunities, and resale or rent-ability.

A true DC enthusiast, Liz is a terrific local ambassador for those new to the area. She loves to explore the city, and has a special affinity for DC’s renowned restaurant, event, and museum scene. Liz calls the Hill East neighborhood home, where she lives with her husband, daughter, and basset hound, Schroeder. She holds a master’s degree in education from the University of South Carolina, and two bachelor’s degrees in communications and art from Furman University.

Matthew Windsor

Matthew was born and raised just outside of DC in Southern Maryland, but he has always had a passion for the District and considered it his home. After graduating from East Carolina University, Matt made it official, moving into DC and fully immersing himself in the culture, charisma and pulse of the city by living in various neighborhoods from Logan Circle to Brookland and beyond.

When Matt purchased his first home in DC’s Sixteen Street Heights neighborhood in 2012, he fell in love with the process and his interest in real-estate was born. He joins Robert and Tyler at Washington Fine Properties to combine his zeal for DC and life-long knowledge of the area with his fervor for real estate.

Following a decade-long career in public relations for non-profit, entertainment and hospitality organizations like Animal Planet and Marriott, Matt is a proven communicator with a successful track record of delivering positive results for his clients. Matt is driven by helping his clients break through the clutter to discover the best that DC and the surrounding areas have to offer, and his prior business experiences provide a strong foundation for his creative and succinct approach.

When not working with clients, Matt can likely be found in Rock Creek Park hiking with his wife and their former “Puppy Bowl” all-star, cheering on the Nationals or Redskins from his season tickets seats, or teaching his weekly Flywheel Sports classes at CityCenter DC.

Prior to joining the Robert and Tyler Team as Operations Coordinator, Katie was managing the Washington Fine Properties Georgetown office. She previously worked with Chemical Watch Research as a client Relations Coordinator and began her professional career at Carr Workplaces as a client Service Associate.

A native to the Washington area, Katie grew up in Potomac, Maryland and remained local for her undergrad, where she attended Catholic University in Washington, DC. In her spare time, Katie enjoys brunch, live music, and playing with her puppy.
